Hi, I’m Dariusz Kalociński
I am an assistant professor in the Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences where
I am a member of the Statistical Analysis and Modelling Group in the Department of Artificial Intelligence.
Currently, I am the director and the principal investigator of the research project
Algrithmic models of prediction: formal properties and philosophical implications funded by the
Polish National Science Centre (NCN). My main collaborators are Łukasz Dębowski and Tomasz Steifer.
I am interested in computability theory, computable structure theory, algorithmic randomness and probability. My other research interests include modelling of language learning and language evolution, especially in the context of more abstract
semantic entitites such as quantifiers.
If you are an Ukrainian refugee working in computability theory, please contact me to see if there are any available options for you to work in my project.
